thats awesome.....I can't wait until Sept. 4. Webster and Daniels are going to be shutdown corners and are going to allow our defense too take even more chances it the blitzing game than last year

side note : I haven't been able to view TigerForums lately due to my move from Mobile, AL to Baton Rouge. I am now settled and ready to talk some football.....

Also I will be getting ready to start up TFL again and will be posting something about it soon!!!

Technically you can't take any more chances than LSU did last year. But it will be fun to see this team try, and try they will.

But is it really taking chances? Webster, Daniels, Landry? I dare to think not.

What the scheme does with the DBs is like holding you by your legs, hanging you off the side of a building and telling you to trust me.

LaRon Landry might be better than either of those two by the time he leaves. If Jesse Daniels or someone else can play smart at the other safety position and with Prude and Stevenson, this secondary will be the sickest crew possibly ever assembled at the college level.

Miami has a great cover corner ... I expect he and Webster for the Thorpe award ... may the best man win

How about we let Rolle get the award and LSU win the NC.

You know, like last year, when most all Tigers were disregarded for awards, and OU took them all.

It's gonna be damn close as far as overall secondary performance this year.

But it's hard to replace Jack Hunt. So definitely a slight downgrade at that position, at a minimum.

But on the flipside, Landry is better. Webster and Daniels are better, believe it or not. Stevenson looks to be an excellent nickel and probably could start for this team if we needed him to. Prude is where he was last year as the dime back, and probably better.

Blitz, Blitz, Blitz, Blitz. And let's see.....blitz.
