Just saw it on CNN. I just don't understand. My guess is that all he'll do is take votes away from whoever wins the Democratic ticket (Obama) thus, helping out McCain.

Ralph Nader should just go away.

Well, no doubt he'll pull more democrat votes, but I'm curious how many he'll get. Usually when an independent runs again, he gets less votes, he becomes irrelevent.

I wonder if Blomberg runs, he may cancel Nader by pulling republican votes.

Third parties may begin to gain stength as more mainstream moderate voters become disillouioned with the two major parties.

I know I'm sick of voting for the lesser of two evils.

I thought about that. I hope he does, but honestly I don't think he will be much of a factor. His "spoiler" days are over. The man is a dinosaur.

Well, he's got 9 months, which is probably all he has money for, I'm guessing. I hope you're right. If Obama is the nominee, I think Nader is irrelevant. But I think he can pull college kids away from Clinton in the general election. Just a hunch.

Agreed. I saw the story a few days ago that he might join the race and all I could think was.......:dis:.

Considering he has no chance and it takes money to run, it's irresponsible IMO to spend the money at this point. But if that's what folks want to do with their green, so be it.

Nader is responsible for the presidency of George Bush. He took enough votes away from Al Gore in 2000 to allow Dubya to get by with a little help from his friends in the Supreme Court.

    I'll ignore him.
