I hoped I'd see something to make me feel better about the loss, but some of this stuff just bugs me a little. Looks like it should have been a win had everything gone according to plan.:dis:

Anybody who has watched much football knows that you have to mix the run and the pass. Any good defense will stop you if you get one-dimensional.

The coaches are not responsible for everything that goes wrong out there. Russell did not manage the clock well on the final drive. That unfortunate sack cost us 15 vital seconds. That could have been two plays at the end and a possible winning score.

What was it, 5 drives inside Auburn territory with no points? Some fans and the offensive coaching staff may want to hang this on one drive, but the poor offensive play calling runs much deeper than one drive.

Miles and Fisher are bound and determined to run the ball with Vincent and Broussard, well that's great. Tulane and MOO U can cure what ails almost anyone in that department. But, they'd better get their heads out of their @$$e$ before the competition elevates again against the likes of FL, UT, and Bama.

But Red, LSU was 1-dimensional that entire drive and then they call a running play 2 times in a row. It sounds like JR checked the pass off and called run, which is on him considering we haven't been able to run all day, but he was doing what he has practiced.
