I was watching some older games and was wondering where Herb Tyler is now a days if anyone knows.

Last I heard he went missing or something acouple years ago and I never heard anything after that, although I was busy at the time.

    Thanks.

The last I heard was that he was playing for the Baton Rouge Blaze when they were still around. Not pure about his present status.

Herb Tyler QB'd for Dinardo in the late nineties and played the hometown Baton Rouge arena FB team for a bit, until the league went under. Prolly working for a living now somewhere with his LSU "dos-gris".

No one could get a first down like Herb on third and two. He is one of my favorite players. I hope that he is doing well.

Agreed. Herb is one of my favorite Tigers because he came in and helped us become competitive again--after the six agonizing losing seasons.

I worked with Herb at a Lincoln dealership in Houma about 5 years ago. Haven't heard anything about him since then. He was playing indoor football in Houma, but the team no longer exists.

I sure miss number 14- he was my favorite LSU player growing up, right until I realized who that "number 3" fellow who was always behind him was.
