Buddy wanted to get some snapper today but was way to windy most of the day. Finally this evening looked like it laid enough to try so went to a really close spot less than 5 miles out and only 38 feet deep that I've never caught them at before but figured as thick as they are everywhere there would be some there. They were there. Much smaller but plenty legal through our measly fish on ice quickly with them going only 16.5-22 inches. Grabbed a mess of white trout too. Not much to take a pic of but here's the snapper.
