Well here you go..... )LSU lost 1 game to a pretty good Florida Gator team that we overlooked while USC lost to a pathetic Cal Berkely team. )LSU beat a very strong Ole Miss team with an under estimated defense in their home stadium to win the SEC West. )LSU beat an awesome, highly ranked Georgia team, for the second time in a row, to become the SEC Champions. USC played an Oregon St. team which could've won the game if there weren't so many turnovers. )LSU played, and beat the #1 Oklahoma Sooners in the Nokia Sugar Bowl to become the National Champions. USC played, IN THE ROSE BOWL, a highly over rated #4 Michigan team that now has 3 losses and never showed up to play. Who needs stats? Even though the stats ALL point to LSU being #1 in the country, the above is easy enough. I'm sure the AP voters got a little lagniappe from voting their cry babies #1, but that's ok. EVERYTHING POINTS TO LSU AS THE #1 TEAM IN THE LAND!
