    If LSU beats OU and USC beats Mich. who is Nat. champs

    Probably both of us. We are the champs of the ESPN/coaches poll if we win, ap voters are not tied into anything.

    so much for the bcs then

    it was suppose to keep that from happening

    split title, like before the BCS. Oddly, this is what the BCS was designed to fix, but in my opinion the voters screwed this up for only dropping OU to #3. I'm not sure a lower ranking for OU is fair, but the BCS is just a computer formula, the voters see the results on the field and should rank teams to have the best two playing in the NC.

    me neither, USC is a big play team. USC can't rest on its laurels if they play Michigan. Michigan is the LSU of the North ;) !!!

    I also don't see the point of the BCS, wasn't this what the BCS was supposed to take care of? It also brings up another point...why doesn't the BCS get released after the bowl games...to prevent this?
