I seem to remember the Democrats made a huge deal out of the fact that Bob Dole was a sitting senator while running for President, and he subsequently resigned.

DID kerry quit his day job?

I thought his day job was gold-digger, while his hobby was being a senator. Is he divorcing turd-reez-a?

No, apparently Sen. Kerry is free to go back to doing what he does best: drawing a fat paycheck from the people of Massachussetts while napping at his Senate desk.

Now, John Edwards is another story. He gave up his Senate seat and took this gig running for VP because he knew his constituents weren't going to send him back to Washington. So, for the moment he's out of a job. But I don't worry about him...it shouldn't be too long before we see him doing late night commercials w/ Morris Bart.
