What happened to the QB that started last year(Martin?) when Mauck got hurt? He played well last year. Was it one of those deals where the starter keeps his job regardless of being hurt, or did Mauck just beat him out this year?

Randall threw four interceptions at Auburn last year . . . you call that playing well? Mauck is 12-2 as a starter, Randall is 2-4. You make the call.

Macuk didn't have to win his spot back. Marcus Randall isn't a very mentally sound QB (intellegence, focus etc.). Macuk kept his job despite the injury, it was just a matter of waiting until he could play again.

I would think your backup played well too, if he threw 3 INT's to LSU before Halftime.

Honestly Mauck is just better than him. Randall is a very good backup but he is too inconsistent.
