1. I've not been keeping up with the UGA games, except for the final scores, of course. Is it as true as the rumors that you guys have been underperforming? I just want to breathe a little easier. :)
  2. Greene has been flat out.....bad the first 3 games.

Pollack has played fantastic as usual. Thomas Davis is playing lights out.
  3. An if then statement for all of you who've taken the ACT before...

If Pollack against everyone in D-1 is fantastic, then Pollack against LSU is crummy.
  4. Our offense has been sluggish the past few games. Really, really sluggish. Like Link said Green didn't look very good against Marshall or the 1st half against USC but he came back in the 2nd half at Carolina and won the game for us. Danny Ware had a good 1st quarter against Carolina but was injured and hasn't played since. That has hurt us quite a bit. He will be practicing this week and will be the starter.

The defense has been as good as I have ever seen them, maybe better than last year. And we get Odell Thurman back this week so that is great news for Dawg fans. Pollack, Davis, Blue, Wheeler, Jackson, White, Anderson, and Jennings have been incredible.

This looks like its shaping up to be quite a defensive struggle.
  5. Yeah. I gotta sneaky suspicion this week's game is gonna be another Auburn-like gridiron struggle for 60 minutes. May the better team win.
  6. LSU 10, GA 9
  7.
  8. Yes, Georgia's offense has struggled a bit.

Greene has been off and, with the injuries at RB, opponents have been able to use cover-two defense on us pretty effectively. Fortunately, everyone's healthy now and will have had two weeks' worth of hearing about how bad they are on O, so maybe they'll be able to give the defending '03 champs a game.
  9. Georgia will finally have everyone back from serving team suspensions.

Odell Thurman will be back this week and Danny Ware will be close to 100%.

Mark Richt chose to run the ball more against Marshall to try to give backs like Jeremy Thomas a chance to get up to speed with blocking assignments and techniques.

The Georgia coaching staff has put quite a bit of time into preparing for this game, so I have to believe that LSU will see a few surprises.

New Georgia faces who figure to have an impact in this game on offense are Danny Ware and AJ Bryant.

But the real significant issue for Georgia is the fact that large numbers of injuries have not hit the Dawgs like they did last season.

While this will again be a defensive struggle, within a seven point swing, the team that scores over 20 points will win this game.

With the extra week off, I think that it will equate to an extra 7 points on the scoreboard for Georgia.
  10. Man, I had almost forgotten Davis. I must be blocking him out of my mind. He had a fantastic game against us last year. Greene and Pollack get all the ink, but they have just never really looked all that good against LSU.

Davis has. I hope Nick has his number this year.
