Do you find these supporters to hinder your every day life and come at you in a cult like fashion?

Because living near a college campus that is how I feel.

If you would wear your aluminum foil helmet, you would not suffer their insidious rastaman vibrations.

Yes. His supporters are very cultish. Then again the majority of his supporters think 9/11 was an inside job and that Dick Cheney hunts women from horseback from his secret ranch in Texas.

I've never heard of Ron Paul, but I thought it was common knowledge that Cheney does non-average stuff like hunt women from horseback from his secret ranch in Texas. I recall something about Cheney accidentally shooting someone while hunting in recent history, although I never looked it up. That's non-average behavior.

I do know that Cheney--along with a very tiny fraction of other prominent people in the US--was involved in this bizarre cult that annually meets out in the woods of Northern California (sure it might just have been an adult version of the Boy Scouts stuff I did as a kid, but still non-average for grown men).

And I also know that Cheney's major ties to Halliburton and the oil industry were a significant factor regarding the Iraq War and other aspects of Bush Administration policy. Not to bash the oil industry (after all, the oil industry is the most significant chunk of Louisiana's economy--we are one of the only four major oil states in the US), but its still non-average behavior by Cheney. How many of you people go out of your way to help out Halliburton or the oil industry more than you have to?

But yes, I doubt 9/11 was an inside job. If that was the case, that would be by far the most disturbing betrayal in American political history. Even if 9/11 really was an inside job, I would never want to believe it.

Does anyone remember who got the "big" contracts during all the Bosnia/Cosovo stuff when during the Sultan of Cigars term as President? Hmm oh yeah, it was Haliburton/Brown & Root. Yes Cheney was involved. He supposedly relinquised this position upon assuming the VP, maybe maybe not. I"m not stupid enough to believe he doesn't still have ties to it. The bottom line is there aren't many companies in the U.S. that can do what KBR and Haliburton do. Therefore they get the contract.

So you do agree Paul has a cult-like following? Cool.

So I've heard. Honestly, I think the most RP supporters I've seen were on this board. I've only hear what Hannity has to say but I'm not gulliable enough to believe everything that comes out of his mouth. Until I encounter a real live "group" of them, I guess I'd have to remain neutral.
