    From what I understand...

UK beats Tenn - Flordia goes to Atlanta.
Tenn beats UK - UGA goes.

Does Tenn stand any chance of going?

Also, is the only reason we need Florida to win for SOS points?

Tennessee would have gone if Georgia would have lost to either Auburn or Kentucky.

Tennessee will now go if Florida beats Florida State and Georgia loses to Georgia Tech. But if Georgia wins, it would be tough for Florida to catch Tennessee because of the NY Times placing Tennessee at 7.5 instead of number 8 and the AP dropped Tennessee to number 7 this week. Florida would probably have to beat FSU by about 30 points to close that much of a gap.

That is correct, that is only way Tennessee goes as Chip explained.

What a Florida win does for LSU?

    1) LSU's SOS goes from 1.04 down to .84, a .20 gain in the BCS
    2) Florida should go to #2 in the NY Times poll, placing them above USC, which of course is a good thing.
    3) Ultimately, LSU would want to face Florida in order to keep Georgia's BCS ranking high for our Quality Win points. We would also get either .10 or .20 for Florida as well, even after losing to LSU, they would be no worse than #10 in the BCS.

If the SEC does the smart thing and makes a decision on Ronald McClendon and Ole Miss before the SECCG, then we could possibly have Florida with only 1 SEC loss, if Ole Miss has to forfeit the game.

Is that wishful thinking or is it a possibility?
