Is this going to be one of those games where there are a bunch of no shows or is it going to be taken seriously by the fan base? Has it been picked up by ESPN or someone? Will it likely be at night? I want to come but I can't afford or get Bama tickets but I want to go to a fun game with a rowdy crowd. Any guesses on how the gameday atmosphere will be?

    the game IS on ESPN...

no one can predict what the crowd will be like though

a lot depends on if fresno comes in 5-1, or 1-5

Note: I don't really know how many games Fresno has before us, I am just using 6 games as an example

OK, then of all the games other than the obvious (Bama) which home game would be most impressive to a first timer (Bringing a guest and I want them to get the real deal on Death Valley... I just can't afford two tickets in the lower bowl for Bama)?

well if you want to see a sure LSU win, ULL WILL be a sellout, b/c their scum-bag fans will come out in droves to see their team get hammered

not to mention, we will all be so hungry for football by Sept 2, that it'll be crazy, but if you want competition, Ole Miss is always a rowdy game

I don't understand the whole "I don't afford it" bit though

Does LSU really sell some tickets in the same place for mroe than others depending on the quality of the opponent? If so, that is terrible

I assume you are talking about buying two at the game itself

Well, this may sound dumb, but is there a way to get a single game ticket at face value from LSU, somewhere in the lower bowl, for the Bama game? If so, I'll be there!! If this is possible please tell me the when, where, and how (I'm too far away to get there in person). I just saw some ridiculous prices on ebay and stubhub and figured it would be impossible to get a ticket for that game at face value without season tickets.

I will be there! Fresno is gonna be tough. It will be a very hard hitting game.
I see Fresno bringin to the tigers early. (knockin grills off)! Tigers will then realize they are in a dog fight and pull away late in the 4th

I hope its like that if I go but I think people will be surprised by how LSU dominates them. I think LSU will run away with this game. This will not be a USC-Fresno style of game. I want to send those Nancy boys home crying anyway.

Yes you get to the campus early that day, walk around with two fingers up and pick and choose which seats you want. This is how I go to every game that I attend. I never pre-buy my tickets. There is always rich faux-fans that could care less to see the game they just buy tickets and tailgate to be with the crowd.

I have never, not one time, not been able to get a good ticket to a game.

I'm going to be coming in from out of town (by air), and I don't want to risk showing up w/out tix and not get any. I went to the Auburn game last year and walked around fingers up for about an hour and I couldn't find a single person. There were tons of people looking for tickets but no one selling. That was my experience anyway. What about trying to buy online from LSU when they go on sale? Any chance that could work for Bama?

This will actually be one of the bigger home games this year, since this really aren't alot of good ones this year. So, I think it will be a pretty good atmosphere and everyone will be thinking of the USC-Fresno game last year and will be taking it pretty serious.
