If Colorado would happen to beat Oklahoma, and Auburn beats Tenn., then Auburn goes to the Orange and who goes to the Sugar. (Tenn. or LSU)

Wouldn't Colorado go to the Sugar? They'd have to go somewhere as Big 12 chumps. LSU will be in the Cap One with an Auburn victory. I believe Tennessee is Cotton Bowl bound.

Probably neither. It would be one of the at large BCS teams...maybe Texas....would depend on if OU fell out of the top 6. Colorado would go to the Fiesta bowl as Big XII champs....probably against Utah

Do you think OU would drop below tu? That would really suck for them, since they shutout tu on a neutral site! Last year, their loss didn't even drop them out of the NC game - but that was a different (goofy) system, and just about everyone else had more than one loss...

I think if colorado beats Oklahoma and Auburn wins it screws alot of stuff up.

The BCS system is horrible. We need a PLAYOFF.

    Auburn vs. USC in Orange
    Vtech vs. Pitt in Sugar
    Colorado vs. Utah in Fiesta
    Michigan vs. Cal in Rose

OU would finish #5 behind Cal and Texas, mainly due to falling to 6th in the AP/Coaches polls for losing to a marginal CU team and the ole "what have you done for me lately, oh you lost late in the season, too damn bad" syndome.

Perhaps, but it would clear things up as far as the Orange Bowl, which would be the major thing the BCS wants. That is, assuming AU holds on to beat Tennessee. Go Buffs and Geaux Vols!

Not sure if OU would drop very far, but there still are a host of teams with 0 and 1 loss just waiting in the wings...and it might boil down to the old way...it doesn't matter how you lose, it matters WHEN you lose. If CU upsets OU, they're locked into the Fiesta. AU winning against UT would then send AU to the Orange Bowl. The Sugar Bowl would be obligated to take whoever's left in the BCS mix...either a BCS at large team, or whoever gets booted out of the Fiesta (Pittsburgh or Utah). My question is, if Cal loses, who does the Rose Bowl take? I'm assuming they would have to do like the Sugar and take a BCS at large or Pittsburgh/Utah (if OU loses)? See how f@#ked up this system is?

That would really SUCK, because they would lose a CCG that tu wasn't even good enough to PLAY in! Definitely a screwed up system!
