Putting the rest of the season into some perspective

Is it disappointing to go from thinking possible SEC Championship or even National Championship to now worrying if we'll win a road game? Of course.

It's happened now though, and is in the past. Here's what we still have going for us:

1. We have the opportunity to go unbeaten at home for the 2nd time in 3 seasons. On top of that, we've won 9 in a row at home and can push it to 13. We've won 19 out of our last 20 in Tiger Stadium and 23 of our last 25.

2. We can get to double digit wins for the 4th straight year.

3. We can further pad our all time record and move upwards in the historical list of great programs.

It was a rough weekend, but we still have a lot of good things going on.

 

We could also gain some respect around the nation and feel better about ourselves if we finish the season strong.

 

we could also still go to the SEC champ game and beat florida

get to a good bowl game

have a great recruiting class....

Not that two losses is ever acceptable for a top program, but if you are going to lose twice, make sure it's to teams ranked #3 and #5.

 

Now that's a goal worth looking forward to!!! :thumb:

 

They are now updated. Florida still has some ground to make up in the computers. Beating Auburn should help them if they can pull it off.

LSU is not as far down as I would have expected, seems people and computers are giving us the benefit of the doubt for the moment.
