If Saint Nick leaves, will you pull:

I guess I would be a classless jerk. I am not going to pull for a team just cause Saban is the coach. I don't really care what the dolphins do.

I realize a Louisiana education isn't the greatest, but even you should be able to read the poll question .... IF Saint Nick leaves.

IF he leaves and IF you pull against him, then you are a classless jerk, IMO.

Now go look up the definition of IF...

Well, IF Saban leaves and goes to the Dolphins, he'll be playing in the Patriots division and since I AM a Patriots fan, NO, I WOULDN"T exactly pull for Nick Saban to win--direct conflict of interest.

Do you pull for Mike Archer at Kentucky, to be the best defensive coordinator?

So, again, "NO", IF Saban leaves and goes to the Dolphins I won't be pulling for him and I would appreciate it IF you're going to make opinions of those that say that they wouldn't pull for Saban, you understand their reasons first.

Guess that since I'm a Pats fan who obviously wants to see them do well in the NFL (that means continuously being ahead of the Miami Dolphins--and newsflash! for that to happen, the Dolphins must lose more than the Pats), that makes me "classless jerk"??????

....Boy....IF I saw every answer, reguarding this topic, in black and white like you do, I might understand where you're coming from on this one.

I doubt that I'd be pulling for him because I live in Louisiana and don't get to see many Dolphin games. I really don't watch much NFL football at all, other than the Saints. I just can't get into cheering for multi-millionaires who act like I'm supposed to cheer for them because they're multi-millionaires. That's why I prefer college ball.

If I had to choose between USC and OU at the Orange Bowl or New England and Philly at the Superbowl, I'd choose the Orange Bowl everytime. Unless Jessica Simpson was doing the halftime show with Justin Timberlake. Then I'd at least need front row seats for any "wardrobe malfunctions". ;)

I guess that I'd be happy if he wins because it makes LSU look good. Unlike many here, I don't have a fellatial relationship with Nick Saban.

That's a fair point, Boston. But let me ask you this ... would you want him to be a complete failure to the point of being fired?

I guess I should direct my comments to those who would want him to fail because they are pissed off at him for leaving LSU.

Hopefully we won't have to worry about this and we'll all enjoy watching him roam the sidelines in Tiger Stadium for years to come!:thumb:
