Obviously, you want something going on when a recruit visits. But for recruits who are from points north, I'd add that you want good weather. There's a huge difference between Michigan and Louisiana in January, and if I were recruiting someone from a cold weather climate, I'd play that aspect up to the hilt. I know there wasn't much going on in B.R. this weekend, but the high here at my house yesterday was 25 freaking degrees, and I woke up this morning to a temp of TEN...and I"m even futher south than TP. I'd love to get a recruit onto LSU's campus after a weekend of cold temps like this here...drive him around in a jeep or convertable, comment on how "chilly" it is, sit out on a deck somewhere eating some etoufee...that would go a long way, unless the player in question likes frostbite.
I thought Florida was out of it for Pryor. Rivals has an article that Florida is now on top. Can someone with a supscription tell us whats up with that. Thanks
no where does it say UF is on top with regards to TP it's an article saying UF rises to the top in recruiting
wait i thought TP was visiting here this weekend. he's going to oregon? has he ever been to LSU? if he's never been here then this guy is a waaaaaaay big longshot.
No lie, outdoor drills w/ the humidity....although NOTHIN is worse than being cold....After living in Ohio, New Orleans wasn't far enough south for us...
Like the Green Bay vs New York Game -4 w/ a windchill of -24 Whatttt???? Head south young man...head south!!!
He will visit Oregon the weekend and he has plans on visiting LSU the following. However, I read he is getting tired and may only take one more visit. He has never been to LSU and yes he is a longshot. My guess is that he will make it to campus and that is all we can hope for right now. After that visit, anything can happen.
