1. I gotta give it to him... Threw me for a loop when he called that running play on 3rd & 30+..... I thought surely he was gonna have JR try to air it out again and we would end up punting it away.. And so did Ole' Miss... hehe

Instead, Broussard carries it 54 yards....Truely a thing of beauty. :thumb:
  2. wasn't it 3rd and 27? I just like to remember specifically when I am retelling the play later, not splitting hairs. ok maybe i am.
  3. It was 3rd and 27 and Joe Addai got the carry.
  4. 90% of the time on 3rd and very long(over 15) LSU runs a draw, the only suprise was that it was so successful. Good job blocking and good job running and it payed off.
  5. Yeah, I really don't think they intended to get a first down from a running play on 3rd and 27. I think they were just hoping to get better field position to punt the ball.
  6. Tirk, I think it was much more important that he missed who the player was.

That would not be considered splitting hairs. :thumb:

  7. damn, glad i didnt read the last part or I woulda had to.
  8. 3rd and 27, 3rd and 30, Broussard, Addai... Hell I dunno... I don't know for sure, I was 2 rows from the top of the West Upper Section 26... The air's thinner up there, and I'm just repeating what my good buddy Jagermeister told me I saw...

Nonetheless, I was still impressed. It was an awesome play.
  9. I heard that a couple of fans saw it the way you reported it; Jim Beam , Jack Daniels, Abso Lute and others !

  10. Yep, I've seen those guys at the games too... Amazing how there's no booze sold there, yet the stadium smells of bourbon consistantly on Saturday night. Hell, if the wind blows right, I can smell it from my apartment during the week.
