Oldy but goody. At this point, the only question in my mind is whether it's for money or because their families are taken hostage every weekend in Birmingham.
Mr ref ain't cheating good enough, we still didn't get to the yellow line. On the other hand, that crapfest we just endured at Oxford might represent a decent counter-argument.
it was def awarded as a first down. remember it well watching live it was obvious even then everyone in the room was yelling about how blatant it was. This vid shows it through to the white hat running in and calling it a first down just have to ignore the guy talking or drag it to the end.
White's back was hiding the ball and his head was over the line. And zebras are notorious for being easily distracted.
I never said conspiracy. Just that all those breaks y'all get, it's got to come around sometime. Just like with our game against Miss St. We got 2 bullshit penalties that kept drives going, and then almost lost. The universe is fickle. That blown interception PP7 was robbed of... wait, have y'all paid for that sin yet?
Karma may not be as interested in all that, as one may think. We all collect and brand those critical calls that you can't get back. I still remember the crap call against Penn St in 83 in Happy Valley. Cost us a game when our tight end was sitting in the end zone with the ball in his hand as a ref was waving it off. The same ref that was an uncle to one of the Penn St players. That's why the traveling team in the power 5 get to bring their own refs to this day. That was about as much Karma as I took from that one.
Yeah that must be tough. The last really bad call you remember is 33 years ago. We'll hold a candlelight vigil later this weekend for yall.
