Almost everyone thinks they are a moderate. Even Ben Franklin declared himself as an extreme moderate. But gdf is right there are no real representatives remaining for either so-called side. And there are sides to issues but everyone's belief superiority reigns supreme. Namely those voted in office. But even ole Ben favored giving up a little to move things forward. So maybe more compromise would be a good thing but it seems when that happens we surrender liberties and freedoms we never get back. So I'm all done giving the government anything at this point.
