There is no fiction stranger than truth. . . ----------------------------------------------------------------- . . .and no humor more amusing than tragedy. So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone because of profiling. :thumb:
Well they are still going to profile everywhere, including airports. This just means that they can't "pick on" muslims. They have to screen a wide variety of people. This doesn't mean that they won't still screen the muslims - just that they do others as well. I think this is a good idea, as long as it isn't taken to far. Alot of other assinations and other things have been done by people who weren't muslim male extremists - crazy white boys have killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Interesting story: The last time I flew was with my grandmother about 2 years after 9/11. There was an Arab man in the airport, ragdu & all - walking around aimlessly & he eventually made his way to my port. My grandmother started screaming, "They had better not let that raghead on my plane!!" I was laughing, people were staring - some nodding in agreement, some just plain shocked. He walked away & we didn't see him again but the flight attendant informed my grandmother that he wasn't allowed on the plane. The moral of the story: Don't worry, the airports may want to be politcally correct, but their utmost concern is profits & arabs on planes = bad for profits.
