I remember some of the bad old days, and those quote sure make up for some of them. Gotta tell ya'll young pups a funny story. LSU's first losing season in a couple of decades was about 1975. I'd never seen a losing season, and it felt like the earth was moving under my feet, it really felt like the world had changed. Next summer, I was riding around, and on the front of a car, I read a special license plate, and started laughing, it said: "The worlds most dangerous animal, a wounded Tiger!" :hihi: In purple and gold, naturally!
I saw the first quote. Two mistakes. The fans were not drunk and the number was 92,700 - the largest crowd in Tiger Stadium history.
