What are everyone's thoughts on the way the crowd will react after the game. Everyone is aware of past roits in other cities after national championship win and super bowl wins etc. I think that the combination of the atmosphere of New Orleans and the rowdyness of LSU fans could lead to some unpleasantness on the streets of New Orleans.

Most Tiger fans know that NOPD will drop a beatdown without a moments thought and they all know that spending a night in the New Orleans lockup is NOT something on anyone's to do before they die list.

I think it'll just be one big party with some sporadic fighting between drunken fans.

I definately plan to burn my own car and loot my refridgerator in celebration after the game (okay, so I'll probably do the looting before, during, and after the game).

On a serious note, doesn't it always seem like these riots happen in Michigan? Pistons, Michigan State, UMichigan...I really can't think of any outside of that state.

I know some goalposts that will be coming down if we win.

Not if the NOPD is on the field. They will put some serious nightstick on anybody that crosses them.

I will bet you any amount (we can escrow it) that the goal posts in the dome remaine shiny and untouched.

NOPD and Superdome security are world-leaders in goal post protection. They will bring out the horses and line the field with them. No one is going over that wall, I promise you (further, there will only be a couple of hundred students AT MOST in the lower level.
