http://www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,1887657,00.html According to this time article the post office is running out of money but hey, wait a minute, at the end of the article it mentions the word bonus. I think we need an investigation into the post office and while we are at it if we are going to go after the private sector we need to look into all government run operations including universities. How much has tuition gone up over the last 15 years? "I would like to know how much Red makes including bonus money btw!" http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/03/05/postal.service.relocation/ Here is another story about the post office you might find interesting. It seems like the post office bought a 1.2 million dollar home so that an employee could relocate. Now I ask you where is this story in the national media? Where is the outrage and the tours of this home that the post office bought? Why aren't they giving death threats to Ronald Hopson? Why aren't people as upset about the issues with the post office after all they are either going to cut their services to five days a week and or raise their rates once again! This affects a lot more people than those AIG bonuses! Edit:Quote: "In 2007, after the U.S. housing boom peaked, the USPS lost an average of $50,542 on each deal, he said. "In 2008, with the market in full retreat, the average loss climbed to $58,397."
