the tiniest, stupidest child understands that. the argument is about where you define the balance. i cant believe i have to explain this again. your version of extreme is my version of reasonable. who gave you the authority to define what the extreme is? i say managed health care is extreme? who says i am wrong? the polls? average based on what? center as defined by what? by red? by polls? the center is not a principle. your arbitrary version of balance is not a principle any more than mine is. there is no point to you always saying you seek balance. we all seek balance. it is what that means to you that matters. dont be afraid to have principles. see red, you are so vague that what you say is meaningless. what you think of extreme is defined by you, and doesnt mean anything to us. at this point i am putting the odds that red is pulling our chain at 43%.
(I didn't read the rest of the thread, but) That's exactly what you said. Both parties are for tort reform but the Republicans want it to protect big business and Democrats want it to help the people. Damn, you are one obstinate SOB.
This is what I am saying. I don't think it would be the solution to everything, but it's something that needs to be done as a part of an overall package.
well to be fair, i dont really have any real arguments about health care. i dont know how to fix it. sabanfan seems to know alot about how insurance works though. one thing i do know is that more government is almost never the solution. this is "principle" i have that i understand well and it guides my decisions. i also dont always agree with "doing something is better than doing nothing". i have no reason to beleive that whatever this current plan is, that it would be an improvement. i dont think that the situtaiotn we have now is ideal, but i am sure it could be made worse. how can we make it better? i am not sure i know. i have some small ideas. but if i was president i would hire sabanfan to help me on this one. this is one issue i dont understand well. but that doesnt mean i favor your big government extremism.
Martin is coming around...:thumb: I'm coming around...:thumb: Now if we could only get red to come around...:hihi:
I just explained where I define it, Einstein. There is one end of an issue and there is the other end. Both are extremes. You can't possibly be this thick. Seeking balance is a principle. The fulcrum is not always in the center. Then ignore me. Please. I am no more vague than anyone else here. I am one of the few that bother to back up a position with some reasoning and some facts. You are not one. You are a mere ridiculer. It's a poor substitute for logic.
