I felt this thread needed a bump just to remind everyone that the LSU team does have some positives about it. Thanks, mauitiger. :thumb:
Theres a lot of "good" guys wearing LSU uniforms...like all schools, its sad when a couple of "attitude problems" make the rest of the team look bad. You,ll very seldom hear about the guys going out and inspiring children, visiting sick kids in hospitals, (for example, that happened over here in Jacksonville when some of the Gators visited a terminal ward for kids), or just helping out old folks repair them homes during the off season. There are so many reasons why we should be proud of these young men, not just what they do "on" the field, and most of which, we'll never hear about. its just not news worthy. BTW, you see that look on the little kids face, right in front of TH...it says it all...and its "priceless". Hold on here guys...I'm gettin "misty" :tigereye:
LSU has a team full of good guys. It is to bad that the few bad apples shine so brightly that you cannot see the good ones.
One positive about last Thursday night was the report of Glenn Dorsey being there and trying to break up the fight and get his teammates out of there. That's how a team leader acts. The vast majority of players don't get in any trouble and do the right things. It's unfortunate they get overshadowed by a couple of bad apples.
Don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. LSU has and will always be a world class program. :LSU231:
hate to be a naysayer (again), but just because TH speaks to a class doesnt mean he's a great guy. i have no reason to think he's not a great guy, but i'd be willing to bet that rae carruth talked to a lot of classes.
