    Why is the Tiger practice facility called "The Ponderosa"?

    TIGERS TO THE TOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

    Charilie Mac gave the practice area the name of the Pondersa.

    And of course "The Ponderosa" was the name of the expansive ranch of the Cartwrights on Bonanza, which is where Charlie Mac got the name from.

    Interesting. You learn something new everyday. I knew the practice field was called the Ponderosa, but didn't know where the name came from.
