I was thinking that the season ticket holders, haven't they already bought there tickets for the season. Maybe I don't know? Maybe there aren't as many season ticket holders as I think? I'm outside of the loop here, I come to Louisiana evey couple of years and attend a sporting event when I can. I would think a football game would do everyone good though. It would give some kind of normal event and help people forget their problems for a few hours. Set up tv's at shelters and other places, this could be fun you know?
Yes they have already bought there tickets but it is not just Orleans and Jefferson Parishes that dont have people living it anymore. It is very wide spread. And if you where leaving for a hurricane and expected to be home in 3 days would YOU take your season tickets. I wouldnt I would leave them in the safe. If there is a game there will be ALOT of empty seats where our friends and fellow Tiger fans should be sitting. Maybe then some people will finally understand that this thing is bigger then the project people that are fleeing New orleans.
I want a game to be played next weekend here in Baton Rouge but in the reality I live in, which involves me traveling around Baton Rouge every day, I find it hard to grasp the mere possibility of a game being played here any time soon.
clarice... wow... you guys are funny... i must say, the only comedian worth responding to is Crawfish, b/c at least he is original... you clowns just build on his jokes... I don't know if we should play, but we will... end of story, end of thread for me
Exactly, anyone with enough money to be an LSU season ticket holder, also had enough sence to evacuate. How many seats do you think will be empty because of the hurricane, 500? I don't think that will be very noticable to the rest of us. My heart goes out to all of these people, but if it is logistically possible for games to be played, then they must go on.
