What's that? Freedom to have a different opinion? The freedom to express that opinion? Freedom of Religion? Sounds about right.

Rationale is appreciated by more people than you would think.

Persoanlly after all that has happened I think we need Faith, whatever or whoever that may be in, now more than ever.

What about the right of the kids that would like to say the pledge, why should they have to suffer because somepeople dont want to do it.

At what point do we have to say enough with all the bull****. There is no way in hell that everyone is gonna be apeased on every single issue that comes up.

No matter what the outcome is someone is going to be put out.

People are so quick to bitch and complain about their rights are being infringed on and that things should be done better to suit them. But if that happens then there is another group of people that will have their rights infringed on.

The problem is and will forever be that there is NO MIDDLE GROUND. It has to be all or nothing.

i hope the muslim countries arent thinking this way. thinking like this is what gets people killed. if you had been born to a radical muslim family, i suspect you would be strapping on your suicide vest, because you havent demonstrated the ability to escape your indoctrination.

nobody wants to prohibit anyone from saying anything. getting god out of the pledge is the opposite of that. you can pledge 500 tons of allegiance to god without asking other people to do the same can you? i cant believe i need to explain this to an adult.

maybe we should change is to "one nation under allah", then when people complain we will act frustrated like we cant please everyone. that would make sense.

does it hurt you so bad to keep your religion to yourself? is that such a violation? i am not advocating we preach my beliefs to your kids, i am advocating that we stick to the facts. feel free to teach your kids to be moonies or scientologists or tarot readers or jews or christians or whatever on your time.

Agreed upon rules of punctuation is a pillar of written communcation. Those who blatently ignore these rules erode the foundation of civilized society, albeit in subtle degrees.

Well from what i have seen and heard from a few guys over in Iraq the seem to think that the hurricane was our punishment for interferring with their lives.

So do you want to rewrite the Bill of Rights and the Consitution and take out all the refrences to god in there.

Should what has been in place be changed or should the people change to fit in where they are at. At what point does it stop. Thats what I was trying to say.

If you dont like dont stand up, you dont like the words dont sing, and if you dont want to pray dont bow your head. It would be easier to do those simple things then to take on the system wouldnt.

Religion is something people have given their lives for, it is not something that is changed easy.

Because even if you don't agree with him, he makes sense.
