Why not try taking Marcus Randall and using him as a slot receiver while Skyler is hurt, in place of Corey Webster? MR knows the offense, knows the pass routes, and is plenty athletic enough to handle the position. I think everybody agrees that Webster having to go two ways is hurting him as a DB. Just a thought. Feel free to flame away. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
Randall is athletic for a QB but not that special in terms of receiver athletic ability. We've got plenty of guys that are capable of playing receiver so there's no real point in doing it. There's also a big difference in knowing what route receivers run on a play and actually going out and running the route yourself.
I thought it was a good idea. In fact I'd thought of it before but didn't post it. Glad I didn't now.
I never could see why he wasnt placed at strong safety. Hes got the size and atheletic ability for it.
