Me and some of my evacuee friends were wondering where we should watch the games that we can't make this season. Thanks in advance :thumb: :geauxtige
What part of Houston are u in? Last year i was in the Woodlands for the MSU game and was able to catch it at Buffalo Wild Wings on HWY 45. I found all kind of LSU fans there watching the game. Someone told me that is where the North Texas Alum watch it. Even JV's brother was in the house watching the game.
I'm in the Galleria area. I'm a big fan of BWW, but the Woodlands may be a little far for me to drive back :yelwink2:
Big Woodrows on Richmond @ Chimney Rock if you're in the Metro area. Huge LSU gamewatching crowd upstairs in The Loft...fight song over the PA. Abita specials during the game, but get there EARLY for the big games as it gets really crowded. Decent food, but don't get too excited about the boudin balls. http://www.woodrows.net/about.html
Tigerlaw, he summed it up best! That's a great place to catch the game. There's also a Little Woodrow's in midtown that is pretty cool too (a bit smaller, but should be a big LSU contingent there.) If you just want a place to watch it, that Fox Sports Grill in the Galleria is pretty swanky and has a ton of TVs. Same for Champp's in Post Oak (close to Galleria also.) Actually, these would be good places to watch the OU/UT game as well, and be guaranteed that a lot of people are going to be upset one way or another!!! :thumb: NOTE: if you go to Fox Sports Grill, get the miniburgers. They're unreal!!
Try Big Woodrows, which is at Chimney Rock and Richmond...but get there at least 90 minutes before kickoff, if not earlier.
