Guys, I'm gonna be Dallas this weekend for a wedding. If LSU wins on Thursday I would like to find a place with some LSU fans to watch the 2nd round game on Saturday, asumming the game isn't at the same time as the wedding. Is there a certain bar or restaurant in the Dallas area where LSU fans normally meet up? I checked the DFW alumni page, but they don't have anything up yet. Thanks.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but didn't want to start another thread with another city.

How about Houston? I know there is a huge LSU base here. I see bumper stickers EVERYWHERE and in an impromptu poll taken at graduation in 2000, I think 80% of my business college classmates were moving to Houston.

There are two LSUAA chapters here in Houston--a Greater Houston chapter and a North Houston chapter.

Here's the (much, much nicer) website for the N Houston chapter: http://www.lsunorthhouston.com/index.html. They usually meet at the SROs on 1960, I think.

If you're in or close to downtown, going to http://www.woodrows.net/ is your best bet. I'll be there if the game isn't shown locally on the CBS affiliate.

That place is awesome. Saw LSU/ Florida 2002 football game there and had a blast.

Thanks, depending on the game time I'll check it out.

Hey thanks! I'm closer to downtown. I had to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to catch the LSU/Kentucky game though, as none of the Woodrows said they were showing it.

No surprise, really, but all of Texas is or should be getting the Texas Tech-UCLA game as the late game on Thursday.

Where in the Dallas area are you going to be. Ben's is supposed to be the Alumni hangout, but unless you're near their location (Greenville Rd.) there may be more desirable places to watch. You'll find plenty of Tiger fans at any sports bar if the game is not televised locally.
