Hey - I'm pumped about the DL next year - gonna be great. But that doesn't translate to an easy job for the LBs. Still need someone to step into Ali's shoes. Otherwise, standby for lots of quick passes and traps.
I think you mean Alem. Allen is on the O-line. That's quite a starting front four and a fantastic set of backups. Actually Tremaine Johnson will see a lot of PT as well as a backup. So that's 5 quality backups plus Corley, Levingston and Blackwell.
Of course it doesn't, but it sure makes it easier on them. Just imagine if we had a weak DL and unproven lb's, then we'd really in trouble. I think this helps the young lb's to play within their abilities, instead of having them do too many things.
