We are at war with two countries, but this guy is part of the Nation of Islam, which is not a real country, you know.

There is no such thing as a war on terrorism, anymore than there is a war on illiteracy or obesity.

war–noun 1. a conflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations or between parties within a nation; warfare, as by land, sea, or air.
    2. a state or period of armed hostility or active military operations: The two nations were at war with each other.
    3. a contest carried on by force of arms, as in a series of battles or campaigns: the War of 1812.
    4. active hostility or contention; conflict; contest: a war of words.
    5. aggressive business conflict, as through severe price cutting in the same industry or any other means of undermining competitors: a fare war among airlines; a trade war between nations.
    6. a struggle: a war for men's minds; a war against poverty

Heh, how is war defined by the constitution? I don't think it talks about the metaphorical sense of the word. That's a pretty liberal interpretation of what our founding fathers intended. With a befuddled mind these liberal republocrats want to instigate fisticuffs.

Anyway, this guy should be sent to meet his maker. I don't disagree with that.

I was simply pointing out that you were wrong in saying there is no such thing as a "war on _________". Don't read too much into it.

And I was simply pointing out that your liberal interpretation of the constitution makes you less conservative than I. Ha ha.

Anyway, I did qualify my statement in the original post.

yes, we are aware that words are not always meant to be taken literally and you cannot fire a gun at a concept. thanks for that. now stop repeating memes you heard from john stewart and bill maher.

Don't get HBO and haven't watched the Daily Show in a while.

I think there are a lot of people who have whole-heartedly embraced the "war" on terror; I guess you aren't one of them? If you aren't, you should be commended.

:popcorn:More drama than a season of General Hospital.

I'm stumped. What did I say that could in any way be construed as liberally interpreting the constitution?
