    Email this to AP Voters:

Explain how you voted USC #1 when these are the facts:

    1. LSU strength of schedule (13th) > USC's sos (20th)

    2. LSU's margin of victory (22.9) > USC's mov (22.3)

    3. LSU wins (13) > USC wins (12)

    4. LSU top 25 wins (4) > USC top 35 wins (2)

    5. LSU top 10 wins (3) > USC top 10 wins (2)

    6. LSU top 35 wins (6) > USC top 35 wins (4)

    7. LSU loss to top 25 Florida > USC loss to unranked Cal

    8. LSU common opponents (Auburn, Arizona) results > USC common opponents results. (LSU beat both teams by +1 more than USC. LSU was up 31-0 against Auburn just after halftime when backups came in. USC had starters in entire game with game 16-0 in middle of 4th.

    9. LSU All Americans > USC All Americans

    10. LSU won legitimate national title under the system both teams agreed to.

But the AP voters voted USC #1 because they are the team who was left out......they said if LSU was left out of the BCS national championship they would of voted us #1. So its just that these guys are looking to destroy the BCS.....IMO, pathetic.

plus we lost first place votes in the AP after a victory...I guess our performance was a subpar championship winning performance. *Shrug*

Screw the AP, who's idea was it to let those idiots rank the teams anyway?

Did AP voters really say this? It's obviously true, but I can;t believe they would admit it.

    That's not true.

The pre-bowl AP poll was taken BEFORE the final BCS ranking were calculated---out of necessity, since the AP poll is part of the BCS scoring criteria.

How could they select the team that was going to be "left out" if nobody could say with 100% accuracy if LSU would pass SC in the December 7 BCS ranking?

Rick Tellshow and Jerry Palm, guys who analyze the heck out of the BCS, couldn't say for sure if LSU would pass SC after that Hawaii-Boise St game, so I doubt some 1,400 or so AP voters could.
