What a jerk. He said it seemed like such a great game for us because it was such a local event. Meaning it wasn't of any national importance.
Same could be said for the Rose Bowl. Do not forget this is the same guy who gave the choke sign while a head coach in the NFL.
Yeah...I heard that comment...like we were playing for some regional championship... What does he know...they don't even play a championship game for their conference. The dumbest remark I heard was when Brent Muss-up-names-burger said that Pete Carroll was being a class guy about all this.
HUNH? His game was such a local event that his team slept in their dorm rooms the night before the game and practiced at their regular practice field. His team played a team that had already won their conference championship and were in town on vacation. They in no way were playing for a national championship, so they basicly laid down for the mighty condoms. His team is a paper champion and he knows it. They couldn't hang with either one of the two teams that played their guts out tonight at the sugar bowl.

By the way, Did USC ever have to leave the state to play their football games? I think all thier games were local
