Get 'em while you can. I guess most season holders didn't put in for the lesser bowls (myself included) because all were granted their requests. The rest are on sale now.
How does the winner of the west end up in the peach bowl? I know we lost the title game. But dam the peach bowl.
Personally, I'd rather go to the Peach Bowl and play Miami than go to the Cotton Bowl and play Texas Tech.
Yeah - interesting switch from expectations. Instead of going to a BCS bowl feeling extremely confident and even with a chance to knock of the Big East's auto-bid against WV, now we're going to the Peach Bowl and will have to fight for our lives against Miami...
Question for ya'll with the disappointment of not going to the Sugar Bowl. Will LSU sell out there allotment of tickets for the Peach Bowl? I know in years past some bowl game committees were afraid LSU fans would not travel. I know LSU travels well but with the lost and not playing in a new years day bowl will this keep alot of people from going. :tigerhead
That, and the fact that LSU JUST played in Atlanta. On the other hand, I'm considering going to the game this year, and it would be my first ever trip to a bowl game. Just happens to be the first time it's a financial possibility.
I received confirmation today that I will receive ALL of the tickets I requested to the Peach. I got tickets to the Championship game but could not attend due to scheduling conflict (at least my wife perceived it as one !). I, along with my family, will travel to the Peach. Not sure if I'm going to drive from Lafayette ( 9 hours ? ) or fly. Looking forward to a good time and a win ... we are going to win !
