Peach Bowl Vs. Sugar Bowl

Now that it is done...would you rather the busting of Miami's behind in the Peach or be waiting for a match-up with WVU? I think I like the Peach Bowl just fine thank you... :geauxtige

 

Since the Sugar means winning the SEC....I think that goes without saying.

I mean, I love what we did tonight....but doing it as SEC Champions would have been even better.

How? What is better than showing your SECCG ring and Sugar Bowl ring if you aren't playing for the NC?

 

beating Miami has more ramifications than beating West Virginia, I guarantee you...

Miami is "the U" the program that most of these kids grew up watching dominate...

 

Don't buy that.

Granted, I think we can have one of the top recruiting classes in the country.

But, winning the SEC/Sugar Bowl is much better nationally than beating Miami in the Peach Bowl

For pure enjoyment as an LSU fan if this was the last game ever to be played in sports history...yes...beating Tha U was very satisfying.

 

Obviously, your entitled to your opinion, but Clair is right. All things considered for THIS season, I think dominating Miami the way we did is better for recruiting than if we had beaten the champion from a conference that really shouldn't even have a BCS bid. Miami is a perennial Top 10 powerhouse that has more players make it to the NFL than any other school. It really hits home when you put it on them the way we did tonight.

 

I don't care if were playing the Patriots in the Peach Bowl, it's ALWAYS better to be playing in the Sugar Bowl.......

I'll take a SEC championship title over a Peach Bowl beat down on xyz team......
