According to pretty much anyone who has talked to an LSU player, the team is so fired up for this one that there may be some spontaneous combustions reported today. When something terrible happens in a person life, that person can have to reactions... That person can either let the grief overwhelm him and sink him into dispair, or that person can turn that frustration into rage. When I played FB in HS, the best game I ever had was the night after my grandmother funeral. All the small **** in the world faded away from my mind, my only thoughts were on my family and on the game.. the game came naturally, but the sorrow for my family was converted to anger and strength and I lit some people up. I expect this Tiger team to have at least 4 or 5 15 yarders tomorrow as the emotions of the day overflow onto the field.

That statement pulled out from above is the reason why I am glad we moved the game, because playing at home I think would have been a sombering affect on the players and being still close to everything, the images would have been fresh in their minds.

Damn. Keller is only making his third career start? Why did I think he was a veteran? That changes a lot. Inexperienced QB = Tigerbait!!!! We'll make him look like we did Shockley in '03.

LSU getting 1 1/2 from the boys in vegas makes me want to bet the mortgage on them......the only thing that scares me is that the man usually wins.

I just about did (half a mortgage payment, at least). Hell, I may go to a second site and bet on them again.

Dude, it may be close, but, come on, LSU will not lose tomorrow. Bank on it.

    I did.

I should've mortgaged the house last week and bet on Kentucky. The Cats were getting like 18 or 18 1/2, hell I could've paid for my daughter's education. But woulda, coulda, shoulda! I think ASU is a 1 1/2 favorite only because they've played a game and the game is at Tempe. If both teams had played a game and the game been in Tiger Stadium then I believe LSU is a 3 to 7 point favorite.

tigers were actually close to a 10 pt favorite at home. thats the huge difference in homefield in college at some places. looks like a bit too much of a swing to me as well.
