Pakistan Unraveling, Bhutto Assassinated

Things have gone from bad to worse in Pakistan today. Bhutto, the former PM and running for office again, was assassinated by a suicide bomber. Before that, 4 supporters of former PM Sharif were gunned down at an airport. Riots have broken out all over Pakistan.

It's gonna get real ugly there...

was this the act of islamic fundamentalists, or musharraf supporters? both of those groups had reason to want the woman dead.

Pakiistan doesnt get squared away ricci tic there is gonna be a mess build up there quicker then feathers in a hen house. We lose Pakistan and Bin Laden has a bigger sand trap in his back yard!

just thinking out loud. anything seems possible in this case.

 

they had one good thing going over there. not anymore. what a hell hole of an area.

 

This was a huge tragedy for Pakistan. Bhutto was its best hope. I just don't see much of a future for Pakistan for the next few years.

 

I hope this will serve to galvanize her base, but I am doubtful.
