Apparently P&G is back with the 1st new issue coming after the Florida game. Scott McKay is out, and has been replaced by Malcolm Brownell as publisher/editor. They are extending everyone's subscription by one month for every week we did not get our magazine.
well good i just read my eamil from the new editor.are they going to change the name?it seems like i saw where he said the name might change. well i am glad i might still get my money worth out of the deal. i was thinking about going over to the rag but now i will just wait till my time expires and then think long and hard about renewing.
For some reason I am receiveing Tiger Rag at my home address. I've been a subscriber to P&G for few years because I cannot take the internet to the toilet. I honestly did not even notice that I've not been getting P&G. The only thing worth reading in that mag is Scott McKay's editorial. I'm kind of bummed that he's out. I just read the email from malcom, the new ed. I can tell I will not like his writing style already.
Have to admit I liked Scott's editorials too. Hopefully Malcolm will be as good or better. I didn't get a feel from the email one way or another. At least he is making good on our subscriptions.
Mystery Subscription I've also been getting Tiger Rag for some reason. Usually shows up the week after the game, but I didn't figure I should complain since I'm not paying for it.
How do you like Tiger Rag compared to P&G? I enjoy reading McKay's editorials each week in P&G. Now that he is gone combined with the uncertainty at P&G I am considering making the switch.
I'm probably not the person to do a comparison as I've never subscribed to either magazine. So far, Tiger Rag hasn't been much use to me because by the time I get this weeks copy with all of the insightful information about the LSU - Florida game, I'll have already read the post game articles and reviews. (Hopefully, good ones this time). Overall, its not bad, if you get it on time.
