Overall I thought it was a hell of a SEC game

Defense in it's purest form. Both teams would seem to get things going then adjustments were made.

Except for the last drive they had 230 yards of offense and 3 points.

 

and 5000 broken tackles.

 

Oh, which drive was that? Oh yeah, it was the most important one...

sorry our defense doesn't suck just needs a little work. Our D still played a good game and holding AU to 10 points should be good enough to win.

 

i thought our D played well. I mean you have to give credit to Ronnie Brown, he is a helluva runner. We shut down Caddy, but Brown was on today. Still this team only managed 10 points. How many times did we hold in the red zone. The offense needs leadership and a solid QB. I say quite the shuffling and pick somebody. I thought Randall showed guts today and Jamarcus learned some good leasons today.

Face it guys, we are not going to win the NC this year. I don't think we would have won even if we went undefeted. Next year our O-Line will be full of seniors, JV and Alley are Juniors as well as most of the receivers.

Be patient and watch the team mature and anticipate the run for the NC next year.

 

Umm, our D doesn't SUCK. That's a little unfounded. Our D needs a little work, especially our run defense. It's not the wall it was last year for sure, but we don't suck. I am slightly concerned about Webster though. I was talking with some friends in the game, and one commented that he looks like he's been playing very carefully, like maybe so as not to get injured before this years draft. We're just wondering if he's got some family telling him to make sure he doesn't get hurt since he'll be a really high pick. He just doesn't seem nearly as aggressive as last year.

I think our D played pretty well overall. Our offense wasn't horrible, just not good enough. I hate that we lost, but I think it was a pretty good, hard fought game. If we had stopped their run like last year, it might have been a different story. Although I've gotta give some props to Campbell. Boy played a good game.

 

I agree as a football fan, not an LSU fan this was a great SEC game.
The only thing that would top it is if the extra point by AU was missed and the game
went to OT.

As an LSU fan I was disappointed but hey we have a game this week!
