    vs baylor:
56 yards rushing on 29 carrys
white sacked 5 times for -44 yards

    vs tex tech
78 yards rushing on 36 carrys
    4 sacks for -26 yards

    vs K st
    25 carrys for 83 yards
    3 sacks for -6 yards

not impressive at all for OU's running game or pass protection. the sack totals do bring down the rushing totals but those numbers are still very low even without the sacks.

I wonder what the OU fans have to say about that.

I would be shaking in my shoes if LSU had stats like that going
    into a big game.

Yea, but if we force them into a passing only offense that is where we shine. We'll kill their qb if they can't run the ball.

Against KSU, 42 of those 83 rushing yards came on the fourth play of the game when OU broke one for a touchdown.

It's obvious OU will not be able to run the ball against LSU, so that means that if OU has a chance to beat LSU they'll have to do it through the air. However, no team, with the exception of Florida this year, was able to slow down LSU's pass rush, but Florida's Chris Leak is a very mobile quarterback, while OU's Jason White has two rebuilt knees and is not a mobile quarterback. Jason White is known for throwing the long ball. He won't have time to even throw the short ball without an LSU player in his face. LSU gets it's most balanced offensive game of the year and gets it's first shut out of the season, LSU wins 42 - 0.

Do not take this to the bank!

I am not the least bit concerned about LSU scoring in double digits but LSU's defense is a big concern. It will help that OU will have their starting RB healthy for the Sugar but he is still no Quinton Griffin, our best RB from last year currently playing for Denver.

I do agree that LSU's offense will be very balanced, <100 yards rushing and barely 100 yards passing.... :D

    Take care and,

    Boomer Sooner!!

I live in the Denver area and have seen him play.
He was very impressive vs the Colts.

    In reference to your quote,
How is it the great OU best rb in NFL?

What I mean, Look at LSU at rb,

We lost Double D and Toe to the NFL and look at all our great
Running backs we still have left.

Addai, Carey, Vincent, Broussard, Edwards, I hope I haven't left
    anyone out.

I think we must be deeper at rb then

    What a ham n' egger.

I'll bank it you won't drag your sorry arse back on this forum after the game to get some crow.

The lost yardage stats are proof the OL has breakdowns, especially on the right side and White can't run ... no mystery there.

The real tale is told in # of hits taken on 50 passes thrown in the KSU game ...

White was RUSHED, HURRIED & HIT ALMOST ON EVERY PASS ...

and he took 20+ brutal hits from KSU's "B" grade Defense.

I really think LSU will PUNCH THIS CLOWN'S TICKET ... they better have lotsa smelling salts :D

OU hasn't seen a Defense like ours before

    Ever...................

Give David Greene a call if you don't believe that.

Where was Georgia ranked when we beat them twice?
