Here is what I don't get... The 2004 inauguration cost around 40 million dollars and the Democratic minority was up in arms. The 2008 inauguration cost 174 million and no one makes a peep. More political hypocrisy and another reason that I don't trust the parties.
Maybe you should watch the news more, I saw at least 10 cover stories on CNN, MSNBC, and ABC about the cost of the inauguration. Special guest and panelist continued to criticize it.
You would think the election rhetoric, inaugural speech and push for a litter free green inauguration a sense of responsibility would be felt by these pigs. That trash heap left at the National Mall is sad and embarrassing. One of our biggest challenges is changing the collective mentality of the hoard. "Let someone else worry about what I leave behind" is a pathetic reflection of our irresponsible attitudes.
