    o wow:

J.J. (Houston): Georgia, Schmeorgia. How bout dem Tigers?!

Trev Alberts: (1:08 PM ET ) First of all, I thought LSU had a great gameplan and executed it perfectly. But if Georgia played LSU on a neutral field, they would beat them 8 out of 10 times. It was a very unusual day for Georgia. To have WRs drop ball after ball. Greene wasn't scared or not poised, his WRs just dropped the balls. They ran up and down the field with more yards than LSU. LSU did not manhandle Georgia. If that is what you are thinking, you are in for a long season. Head to head, Georgia is still the best team in the SEC.

I wouldn't expect anything less from our friend the very knowledgeable Trev:

Just a final word on the yardage issue -- UGA outgained LSU 411 yards to 285. That's 126 more yards than LSU, but that also includes one play of 93 yards, which skews the numbers just a bit. Take away that play and the difference is negligible.

Oh well, I guess we'll just have to keep winning to get any respect. Kind of reminds me of Ohio State last year.

Trev Alberts is to you all what Mark May was to UGA last year. After every win, UGA wasnt as good as the other team. May said we would lose to USC, Tenn, Bama, Auburn, Arkansas, and FSU. LOL, it was bad.

I love Trev's defense of his record (he sounds like Mo Green -- "I'm Mo Green. I made my bones when you were still going out with cheerleaders.") BTW, is this Leo guy an LSU fan?

Leo: How long did you play in the NFL? Three weeks?

Trev Alberts: (1:25 PM ET ) Leo, this is a COLLEGE FOOTBALL chat. Don't know if you figured that out yet. When I go on ESPN to talk NFL, you can talk to me. I was a two-time All-American and won the Butkus Award. I was an Academic All-American. Nobody has credentials like I have here at ESPN. You can make fun of my NFL career all you want, I'm not an NFL analyst. If I was on Countdown you would have every right to say that LEO .. I still think you should move. You probably bother your neighbors.

And he manages to get in one more jab at LSU:

I enjoyed the chat .. last weekend was a terrific weekend. This weekend, I'll be real honest, it doesn't look like many great games. But these are the sorta weeks where something big could happen unexpectadly. Cal is playing USC. You never know. Tennessee is playing S. Carolina. You never know. LSU is playing Miss. St. You never know. Historically, the weekends you think will be bummers, don't turn out that way.

Trev either did not watch the game, is an idiot, or just likes to say silly things for the attention.

He does not deserve our wrath in any case, our pity, yes, but not our wrath which we must save for MSU.

    cheers!
