Oregon @ Arizona TBS Sat Night

This game is going to be interresting to watch just to see if Arizona was as bad as we made them look or if we are just that dang good.

 

It'll be interesting to see if that idiot Bosworth even shows up in the studio for this game.:lsug:

I was on the Beach in a Bar and could not hear the Tv last week

 

Oregon has won 8 of the last 9 games. they will do it again. sounds like there is more fighting among players and coaches. You dont like Bosworth? He is a nice guy, I have had dinner with his family in Malibu at his house. He is a good old boy.

 

Have you seen the promos TBS is running for the game? What a hoot! They make Arizona sound like they're one of the top teams.

Arizona out to get some respect but you know what they look slow in the commercial too.

 

Before kickoff, Bosworth just talked about how the new name of the studio show should be "The Boz Show" and he wanted a new logo to reflect it. And he talked about Oklahoma and Alabama game. I don't think LSU was ever mentioned in the pre-game. At half time, he said he had a stomach-ache and that Arizona was horrible; no mention of how good and dominate LSU was. I don't think he ever uttered the name "LSU". After the game, when Mauck was being interviewed, Mauck was being gracious and said that Arizona had a good team and would bounce back. The interviewer interrupted Mauck to tell him that Boz was laughing at that comment back in the studio and wanted Mauck to respond to Bosworth's mock of Mauck. Anyway, he was unprofessional and added absolutely nothing to the show. Also, when the other studio dude mentioned that this week's game would be Arizona/Oregon, Boz said, "Oh, great!" (That was pretty funny, I'll admit)

 

Get used to it, folks. When networks put people in front of the cameras these days, it isn't about knowledge, it isn't about talent, it isn't about personality. It's all about ATTITUDE. Bozworth has little or no talent or knowledge, but he's got plenty of 'tude. So many viewers seem to want style instead of substance, and if substance isn't important to you, Bozworth is your man. I guess I'm just "old school" but I don't watch the studio shows at all. From Salisbury to Sanders to Irvine to Bradshaw and now to Bosworth, I find these types to be completely irritating and unwatchable. Just give me THE GAME and otherwise shut up!

 

I noticed that TBS is airing the Oregon/Arizona game after "Dumb and Dumber." After seeing Oregon's uniforms and hearing the smack by Arizona before getting destroyed by LSU, I'm wondering if showing these back to back is a bit redundant.
