I suppose I'd probably have to examine my thoughts to find out where and against whom I might be a bigot but this is not one of them. I have no hate, no dislike, and certainly no fear of people with gender dysmorphia or who have issues with gender identity. I don't care how they live their lives and I don't care what they do as they go about their day. I truly don't believe they belong in the military and I really don't believe that taxpayers should foot the bill for their reassignment surgery or the pharmaceutical process leading up to it or for the years of counseling that right now are required before somebody goes through the process.

I don't believe that women belong in forward leading combat jobs. I don't believe women belong on ships or submarines. I don't believe women belong in any Elite or Special Forces.

I don't believe someone with ADHD should be a sniper. And I really do believe that the greater good was served with the don't ask don't tell policy no matter how much people may not have liked it.

It's the military. It's not society and they have different rules and requirements.

I will go back to the Viagra situation because like I mentioned, the majority of people getting a prescription for that are retired. Not necessarily old but retired. Of those who are retired and have problems with their equipment working, 85% of that is a result of PTSD. Being in the military caused that situation and we have men who are serving an unprecedented situation of tour after tour after tour. If a limp dick is the end result, then they should get Viagra.

While I was in the Air Force those duties were performed by heterosexual GI's or civilian contractors who played by the same rules.

No, nothing. Look, I agree, they are people and capable of many things and while they may be able to count or cook or drive they can do it somewhere other than the military. Its just the way it is. You can't break down the fabric man and that is exactly what would happen.
