I know this has been posted, but, i remember it like yesterday, winning the BCS championship. I kept pinching myself on the way home from a friends house. Thinking that it was 45 yrs ago since our last championship and thinking that it isn't necessiarly the best team but, the one with maybe a little luck on its side. 2003 was a mature team with excellent leadership that everyone understood their roles. Baseball had us spoiled in the 90's and 2000 - we expected to play for and win the NC in Omaha everyear - or atleast everyother year. I will cherish that moment the rest of my life and remembering how proud i was of our university and our student-athletics and the admin leadership that helped provide the resources to make that championship possible.
