I know this isn't about LSU sports, but what did everyone think of that crazy win by the Bears?? They came back by committing 2 turnovers (6 total), and only 39 yards of offense in the last 22 min. to win, I mean come on who does that? If I was a cardinal fan I would be sick.

That was horrible for Cards fans! Leinert actually put them in position to win at the end after all of that, and their kicker missed the FG try! I still remember feeling sick like that after an LSU game. I think it was 1994.

I mentioned this in another thread, apparently the wrong one - Chris Berman said after the game that the Bears were the first team in the history of football, EVER, at any level, to win a game after being down by 20 in the 4th quarter without scoring on offense in the quarter. I know the mostly sports programming network is prone to hyperbole, but this seems to be just an outrageous supposition that they are passing off as fact, just assumming it is right.

And, I'm thinking that it is not correct. Didn't the Tigers blow one to Auburn back in the dark days with Jamie Howard? It seems to me Auburn did the trick in "The Interception game." Anyone? Also, if you're not happy with the state of the program right now, just think about that.

Thinking about it some more, the Tigers may have only been up by 17 - 19 points, not 20. Still made me sick, though.

Well, Chicago actually scored their 1st defensive TD seconds BEFORE the 4th quarter. I remember this distinctly b/c I was watching a bit late from Tivo, and had started to fast forward thinking that the quarter was over, and when I got to the start of the 4th after commercials the score was 23-10. So I had to go back and see what the heck happened.

I feel a little bit bad for the Cardinals but they had several chances to drive the nail in the coffin and put more points on the board and didn't. The announcers were harping on it and I had an eerie feeling that it would come back to bite them in the butt, and it did. It's still one of the worst choke jobs in history, and with Grossman being personally responsible for SIX turnovers, an unbelievable dropping of a gift-wrapped game. Chicago's D deserves a ton of credit, not just for scoring but for limiting Arizona to FGs or less after several TOs.
