in the true sense of coaching, Nick wants all of us to become disciplined into thinking like him. In a sense I agree, we are talking about 18-22 year olds playing for OUR ALMA MATER. It's ridiculous to keep on posting or arguing about what if's or what isn't POSTS just because we're bored !!!!! It's time to step up to the ONE GAME AT A TIME mentality, and let's FOCUS POSITIVELY on the next game. Some people have nothing better to do than to bring up the last game or the game previous of that one.........just move on!!!! Who cares what all of you think, this bashing is what NICK DOESN"T want to see about his players, just like you DON'T BOOOOO our players from OUR ALMA MATER.....unless your ignorant or have nothing better to do. As for who started and who should start, let NICK and the BOYS figure it out.....until then, GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!!! WOW, I even spelled TIGERS right, heheheheheee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree 100%. Nick has a whole lot more experience in being a head coach in Div I than anyone posting here. The problem with being a NC, some yahoos expect you to go undefeated for the next 12 years. If you don't they all of a sudden know more than the coach.
Didn't we win the National Championship last year ? Was our coaching good then ? Did our coach's philosophy and approach to the game make sense to us ? Weren't we all elated after the Sugar Bowl ? Thanks. Just checking.
For the most part, all I've seen are supportive posts like this one. I really haven't seen any bashing of the team or NS. Keep it up, Tiger Supporters! :thumb:
I doubt anyone here seriously thinks that the problem right now is coaching. The problem is CLEARLY, and this was stated by Saban himself, is that the players are not playing with physicality and toughness (O/D Lines). They are not using proper technique every play (WR, RB, CB), and they are not preparing for the game correctly from a mental standpoint (#2 QB). It is clear when the players listen to the coaches, play physically, and prepare mentally for the game that we will be one of the top teams in the country year in and year out under Saban.
